Here is the thing, Martin. All what you say about Trump and the media is spot on, specifically the daycare Jabberwocky of Trump in the New York Economics club., 9/5/2024. But then you ask the wrong question: How can the media support such a person who repeats slogans in an incoherent fashion instead of addressing the issue?
The right question to ask is how could have been Trump elected, eight years ago, as the president of the US, who wasn't an iota better then he is now? So, perhaps, the media are not the culprit, Americans are.
America deserves better. The anti-Trump politicos left and the more to the left declare from sunrise to sunset. 75 million who voted for him in 2020 surely not.
In contrast, J.D. was both clearer and honest in response to the raising costs of daycare. He said, recruit your relatives to subsidize you with shouldering the cost of daycare, reduce standards of provider so they can employ cheaper labor, and perhaps charge you less. But us, (read the government) will not help you with a plugged nickel.
Perhaps, helping isn't Catholic enough. Only to bring the children to the world is.
Which one you prefer/despise more? Trump's muck, or Vancie's honesty?
Absolutely agree. Maybe people wouldn’t be so persuaded to treat Trump as a legitimate candidate if the media called out what incoherent nonsense he is spouting.
Liz's dad, Darth Vader, AKA Dick Cheney has joined the Harris team. I'm actually unsure if that's the kind of support I would want but... is this the new reality?
The possibility of Trump winning is so scary to me. Half of our country must be insane to vote for this guy. The only way I can explain it is a mass cult following. The consequences are dire.
Seems like everyone’s grading Trump on a curve: He has always been rambling and incoherent so he gets a pass. Republicans should be ashamed.
