The context of Bernie's policies and public statements at Senate hearings or on the floor of the Senate is to messages to his Democratic colleagues -- as much as he's putting on a display for the general public. These aren't "sixties proogressivism" rants -- they're reminders of sixties, seventies and eighties Mainline Democratic positions and values. Dems are so lost.
Democrats in positions of power in 2025 are, unfortunatel y already bought and paid for by AIPAC, Pharma, Fossil Fuel, Military, Wall Street and Silicon Valley. So are Republicans.
