I've been reading your posts regularly and it gets depressing after awhile. We agree most of the time and by that I mean there are very few times I disagree, probably count them on one hand even with missing fingers. But it's like an echo chamber. I'm sure most of your readers are like-minded. I don't know how to reach the idiots out there who have voted for Trump. That's what we need to determine.
Sermons. Billboards. T-shirts. Bumper stickers. No shit. Buttigieg on Fox. AOC on Twitter. Set up call-in AM radio stations in Nebraska and Iowa and start talking to truckers and the heartland about the same stuff HCR talks about in her daily Letters from an American. Support Wes Moore and other fearless Democratic governors who have a voice. Cancel your WaPo subscription. Stop funding the NYT and NPR and other “liberal” media outlets until they pledge to stop the bothsidesing that got us into this mess and return to the journalistic standards required to protect democracy. Exit X, be a Twitter Quitter, go to Bluesky. Cancel Amazon Prime, buy direct and wait a few days for gratification, or buy from local brick and mortars and keep the extra couple of bucks in your community. For god’s sake sell that damn Tesla. Get off your butts and knock doors in 2026 and 2028 because where we did that we flipped one district after another and where we didn’t we had abysmally low voter turnout. Get your children interested in politics and history and public speaking and encourage them to get involved because they’re our only hope.
I think we ARE in the minority, the ones of us who try to keep up with factual news. I was talking to a man yesterday, a black man in his 40s, and he said, “Well, have you ever really been affected by whoever the president is? That’s why I’m not interested in politics.” 😕
Repubulicans throw fat pitches over the center of the plate which any halfway competent politician should be able to destroy them with. Unfortunately, if the solution is Democrats messaging, then we've already lost.

Only pain will teach the lesson. Unfortunately.
