I love your musings! They inspire me to do the same. To me, during Covid lockdown I turned more introspective and out of it I wrote a book I had been putting off for four decades. Yesterday I watched more TV than I have in weeks because during a PBS fundraiser I got to watch Elvis, the great folk singers of the 50's and 60's, Andrea Bocelli, and John Denver. What a day! Bliss and sorrow, bliss in hearing music that resonates with my soul, and sorrow that the same problems face us today, that we were demonstrating about when I was in school. And the great wheel of life just keeps turning and grinding too many under it.
Thanks Karen, good to hear you knocked off a book project during lockdown. I finished my second novel after a long break. It was too short and I could see how to beef it up, so I set it aside. Then one day I started working on it and figured it out. Did something really different and I think it worked. I can’t speak for others but Covid definitely changed my life. Change is good!
I've commented a number of times but it seems there is no interaction either with other readers or the author. So, Martin, I think you need to engage your readers in the comment section to elicit their responses. What do you think? Won't take long to write a few sentences. Sure, it's good to have followers, but being a fellow writer, I like to know what others think.
Good reminder Tom. I’m pretty good about responding to comments on Medium articles where I get a lot, but I’ve slacked here a bit. I’m almost at the one year point for The Grasshopper and still figuring things out. I haven’t really cracked the code on encouraging paid upgrades and refining the voice, but I’m having a great time. I may restart The Witness Chronicles to feature some of my political pieces from Medium. I started a few months ago but had too much other stuff going on. Thanks, M
