What is The Grasshopper?
I’m a professional writer and creator, and have been for many years. I’ve hopped around from music to writing books to digital marketing. These days I am a top writer on Medium.com where I write about politics, climate, and current events. I also write novels.
The Witness Chronicles is now my main focus here covering climate, US politics (yikes!) and international issues several times a week. All subscriptions include The Witness Chronicles.
The Grasshopper is my place to talk about personal growth via writing, in a pragmatic voice. It appears periodically.
This newsletter is a work in progress, like all things, and it has been moving in the direction of writing about writing as a profession, a form of meditation, and the thing I do, both for myself and for a living.

Why you should care
There are plenty of places online to read about how to make money without doing the work. This is not one of them because most are a complete waste of your time and are designed to get clicks. Remember, if someone has discovered the secret sauce, why would they tell the world?
My goal is to open eyes to new ways of seeing the world. And to support the democratic principles and rule of law that has helped the US stay free for 250 years.
