The Deportations Are Looking More and More Like White Suprematism
There’s a pattern emerging across the White House actions
There is something linking all these high profile deportation cases. All of them are people of color. Add in the Pentagon’s ethnic cleansing of American military history and you have a pattern that is impossible to ignore. This is blatant racism, open racism, and it all emanates from the Executive Branch.
The mainstream news can’t draw this obvious conclusion but I write opinionated observations and I can state the obvious. All the cases we are reading and hearing about are non-white people; Arabic, Indian, and Latino, but any non-white person could be a target. Many are not criminals, are here legally, and are often high performing individuals in their chosen professions.
And, when examined, claims of gang membership or terrorist support evaporate. Yes, there are serious criminals but it doesn’t seem to matter to ICE, nor do they bother with warrants or due process.
Trump made extensive promises to immediately deport millions of illegal ‘criminals’, promises that were nearly impossible to fulfill, as Joe Biden had already clamped down on illegal immigration and the numbers were way down. So they moved on people US immigration courts had given asylum status to boost the numbers.
It didn’t help that there is a hardcore racist at the core of the Trump White House, Stephen Miller, a man so despicable that his entire family has cut him off and classmates described him as a fanatic. Lately he has been appearing on TV news shows and losing his composure when challenged on his views. Those appearances devolved into shouting and insults. He cannot control himself.
I can no longer comment on how men like Miller made their way into the ranks of high power, but we are now paying the price. And he is not alone. The most obvious practitioner of overt racism right now is Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who was drummed out of the military because his leadership had serious concerns about his full back crusader tattoo, a common symbol of white suprematism.
The noise about DEI and ‘wokeism’ is bullshit. It’s code talk for racism and that needs to be said. I remember when these things were known as political correctness and I knew it would be the downfall of liberalism, as liberals became too obsessed with making it a priority while ignoring grassroots issues affecting the American people.
And they unwittingly opened the door for the white racism I am describing. That door will be very challenging to close and that damage is risking the future of our democracy. We screwed up and that is putting it politely.
And I would be remiss not to mention that Elon Musk is an Afrikaner, the most racist society in the civilized world, despite Nelson Mandela’s heroic efforts to end it. Unfortunately, it is still in the hearts and minds of many white South Africans and Musk is right in the center of this administration.
Our country was conceived to be a haven for the downtrodden from Europe. Our great national sin, slavery, was cleansed by a horrible civil war but remained under the surface and it has emerged again and again, full of righteousness and now empowered by a small man out for revenge, a pitiful excuse for a man.
But we are to blame. We not only elected him once, we elected him a second time and many of us are proud of that choice. But they are the exact part of our population who are now being hit hard by who he really his, a despot who could care less about the suckers that elected him.
Power, greed, and revenge are all he cares about. And, most of all, adoration. His motivations are so petty and shallow that it defies logic that he weilds power, yet he does.
So what is resistance? The courts are trying and may take the lead but he has an ace card, simply ignoring them. So, only a nationwide uprising can change the equation. We are seeing the beginning as Republican politicians who dare meet their constituents in public face an onslaught of anger and derision from their own people.
It remains to be seen if these weaklings can turn against their leader, one of the many questionable what ifs right now. Resistance is the great unknown factor now, and it is up to us, the regular folks who don’t hate and who can still see reality as it is.
The question is, will we stand up?

My question is will YOU stand up, put your money where your typewriter is? What is your physical action? Carry a sign? Stick your face in someones face? Stand up in a town hall?
I have loved your writing since broken glass and you have helped me immensely. But, don't challenge me to stand up without witnessing to your own actions
