I’m coming up on the first anniversary of The Grasshopper. What started as a hobby with less than 100 subscribers has grown rapidly, once I learned a little more about leveraging my Medium community. My paid launch has been slow but there is a learning curve and I’m just starting to understand how certain things work.

It was no different with Medium, except I now know more about this whole online writing thing and how communities work and how to leverage them. My Medium writing is a micro-business and Substack has given me another path to a sister micro-business.
